ESPN STAR Sports has successfully extended its multi-year agreement with Spanish Primera to deliver full and exclusive broadcast rights of Spanish Soccer league in India till 2009.
With this, ESPN STAR Sports further strengthens its most comprehensive coverage of International Football in India including rights to broadcast the English Premier League, FA English Football Package, the Asian Football Confederation Package. ESPN STAR Sports had recently broadcast FIFA World Cup 2006 LIVE and exclusive on its network.
The Spanish Primera Liga boasts of two of the best known clubs in world in the form of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Stars like Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, David Beckham and captain of the World Cup winning Italian team Cannavoro will be playing the league, the channel presents 38 weeks of LIVE action.
