Based in London and Sydney, Hanmer will be instrumental in mergers and acquisitions for Law & Kenneth in the Asia Pacific region and Central Europe
Tony Hanmer, senior senior vice-president, and member of board, McCann-Erickson, has joined Law & Kenneth Worldwide as special advisor to the board of directors.
Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Praveen Kenneth, co-chairman and managing director, Law & Kenneth, says, “Tony Hanmer will operate out of Sydney as well as London.”
He adds, “In these two branches, Hanmer will be mainly responsible for business stabilisation, strengthening relationships with clients and acquisitions and mergers.”
Hanmer, who has been a specialist in acquisitions and mergers, will be instrumental in furthering Law & Kenneth’s acquisition ambitions in the Asia Pacific region and Central Europe.
Hanmer, who has over 25 years of experience, joined McCann-Erickson, Sydney, in 1991. From there, he moved to be a member of the worldwide board with responsibility for the performance of 29 offices in 17 countries, which included India.
During his tenure in McCann-Erickson, Hanmer handled clients such as Coca-Cola, General Motors, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Unilever, Levis, Ferrerro, and Cathay Pacific.
