RK Swamy/BBDO shortlisted for The Golden Awards

For the last two years, the agency has been winning awards at the New York Festival, of which the awards are a part

The Golden Awards, a part of the New York Festival, has shortlisted six of RK Swamy/BBDO’s creatives. The agency has won awards at the New York Festival for the last two years, but this is the first time that it has had six of its seven entries shortlisted for the awards.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Chandrasekhar Vaidya, senior creative director, RK Swamy/BBDO, says, “Our six entries include the creatives done for two of our clients, IndusInd Bank and Cremaffin.”

While the ‘No Tobacco Day’ ad for IndusInd Bank has been selected for three categories, consumer outdoor announcement, consumer print announcement and art direction, the three Cremaffin ads have been selected for one category, consumer brand reminders.

The IndusInd Bank ad shows two burnt tobacco leaves designed in the shape of human lungs and the tagline reads, “Do you still want to smoke?”

The Cremaffin creatives are ‘Choke Remover’, ‘No. 1 for No. 2’ and ‘Ball’. The tagline for the first and third adverts read, ‘No more constipation’.

Founded in 1994, this is the 12th year of The Golden Awards. The awards honour excellence in healthcare communications worldwide. Categories in The Golden Awards extend over regional, national and continental boundaries and reach out to healthcare corporations, hospitals and education groups as well as to advertising agencies, design studios and production companies.
