Kamal Oberoi, chairman and managing director, M&C Saatchi India, says, “Jayal’s viewpoint fits perfectly with M&C Saatchi’s “brutally simple thinking” philosophy and we are delighted to have him on board.”

Jayal, an English literature student from Hindu College, Delhi, started his career with McCann Erickson. He then moved to Contract Advertising and served the agency for around five years. Finally, before moving to JWT, Jayal had two short stints with Leo Burnett and Rediffusion DY&R for six months, respectively.

Talking about the foreseen challenges, Jayal, says, “Apart from new business acquisition, setting up a new agency and giving it proper prominence in the advertising sector is a huge task in itself. And, I am delighted to face this challenge.”

For the record, M&C Saatchi recently launched in India after reaching an agreement with Delhi-based creative hot shop Dhar & Hoon.  M&C Saatchi has 12 offices in Asia.
