Mudra’s Hemant Misra to join JWT as senior vice-president, Pepsi

Misra has been with Mudra for the last 14 years

Hemant Misra, president and head of North and East operations, Mudra, will join JWT, Delhi, as senior vice-president, Pepsi, from next month.

Speaking to agencyfaqs!, Misra says, “I have served Mudra for 14 long years and, now that I’m moving, it evokes loads of nostalgia. Moving was not an easy decision and it took a lot of consideration. However, I now want to grow in some other area or, rather, I would like to go back to brand building. So, I grabbed this opportunity when it came my way. The scale of functioning is dramatically different in JWT – I will get the opportunity to work actively on the brand building duties of Pepsi.”

Misra, a graduate in Economics from Hindu College, started his career in 1986 with an agency called Milestone. Before moving to Mudra, he also did a stint with Everest.

In his career span, Misra has worked closely on various national and international brands such as Nestle, Hewlett Packard, Samsung, Frito Lays, Mitsubishi, Yamaha, Electrolux, McDonald’s, Dabur, Pan Parag, Hindustan Motors, Orient Fans and Metro Dairy.
