At JWT, Sachdev will work on brands such as Levi’s and Kingfisher Strong
Tina Sachdev has joined JWT, Bangalore, as senior creative director. She hails from Rediffusion DY&R, Bangalore, where she was associate creative director.
Commenting on her appointment, Dhunji Wadia, senior vice-president and general manager, JWT, Bangalore, says, “Sachdev is known in the ad industry as a persuasive and inspiring creative leader who is able to elicit the best work from her team. She has a proven track record in delivering effective and outstanding solutions for clients and is absolutely passionate about her job. Her appointment is a part of our drive to secure top-notch talent, who will fulfil our creative aspirations.”
At JWT, Sachdev will work on brands such as Levi’s and Kingfisher Strong (the latter was recently won by JWT, Bangalore).
Sachdev remarks, “New challenges always get my adrenalin going. I’m looking forward to working on Levi’s, as fashion is an evolving category and I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and get cracking on it. I was looking for a change and JWT offers a culture which is fun to be a part of.”
Sachdev started her career in 1995 as a copywriter with Everest Brand Solutions (then Everest Advertising) in Delhi, where she worked on Rotomac, Red &White and Panasonic. Three years later, she moved to join MAA Bozell, where she had the chance to work on Rayban and Hewlett Packard. After spending two years with the agency, she joined Rediffusion DY&R, Bangalore.
During her stint with Rediffusion DY&R, she was in charge of ING Vysya, handling corporate, insurance and bank communication. She worked on ING Vysya’s ‘New Face of Money’ corporate campaign, as well as ‘Child Plan’ and the ‘Orange Savings Account’ campaigns. Other brands that she has worked on at Rediffusion DY&R include McDowell’s Signature, Airtel, Nike and Romanov.
