Arora will be the executive creative director at Innocean
Varun Arora, executive creative director, Enterprise Nexus, will head the creative team at Hyundai’s creative agency, Innocean. He will join his new assignment next month.
Innocean’s creative team will have seven people on board initially, but the team is likely to be expanded as the agency grows. Apart from the Hyundai brands, Innocean plans to handle external brands as well, but only after six months of operation.
The other creative professionals currently on board Innocean are Mudra’s Saurabh Dasgupta, O&M’s Mani Jayram and Rediffusion‘s Dileep Daniel. All three of them will be creative team leaders. Discussions are still on for the other three creative professionals.
Arora says, “For the next six months, my focus will be on understanding what needs to be done vis-à-vis the Hyundai brands. Each brand has its own needs and, as a creative team, we will embark on the task of identifying them and chalk out a separate creative strategy for each brand.”
Arora has worked on both national and international brands in India as well as abroad. For the last two years, Arora has been with Enterprise Nexus. Prior to that, he worked with agencies such as Contract Advertising in Delhi and Mumbai, RR Partners in Nevada and Leo Burnett in San Francisco. Arora attended a film school in Los Angeles during 1996-98.
In his career span, Arora has worked on several brands such as NIIT, Hyatt, Las Vegas (tourism), Victoria’s Secret, Levi’s, Microsoft, Whirlpool, General Motors, Applied Materials and Timesjobs.com.
