Prasanna Sankhe joins Ambience Publicis as senior creative director

Sankhe moves from Alok Nanda and Company (ANC), where he worked for three years

Prasanna Sankhe is all set for his second innings with Ambience Publicis. He has been appointed senior creative director and will report to Elsi Nanji, chief creative officer, Ambience Publicis. Sankhe was earlier working with Alok Nanda and Company (ANC), where he spent three years.

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Sankhe says, “My association with Ambience Publicis goes back to 2000, when I joined the agency for the first time. In 2003, when I was offered a role in Alok Nanda and Company (ANC), I found that pretty challenging as it involved both creative duties and brand solutions. Now, when I was again approached by Ambience Publicis, I took it up at once.”

He adds, “Since the agency is going through a lot of change, clarity on my role in Ambience Publicis can be ascertained only in January 2006. However, I will be heading one of the units and there will be two separate groups under me.”

Sankhe, a graduate from the JJ School of Arts, Mumbai, started his career in 1994 with JWT (then HTA). He moved to Grey in 1997. After serving the agency for three years, he moved to start his first innings with Ambience Publicis in 2000. His last assignment was with Alok Nanda and Company (ANC), which he joined in 2003.

In his career span, Sankhe has worked on super brands such as De Beers, VIP, Lux, Godrej, Gujarat Ambuja, Mauritius Tourism, Western Union Money Transfer, Marico, Lakme, Nerolac and Barista.
