K Factor bags six new accounts worth Rs 10 crore

The total size of these businesses adds up to Rs 10 crore

K Factor has begun the year by bagging six new businesses. These include Surya Roshini; the yet to be named mouth freshener from the DS Group; Pioneer Urban, a new real estate company; Raman ‘Spectramind’ Roy’s new, yet to be named venture; Allcheckin, a UK based travel portal now expanding its operations in India; and Adobe, one of the world’s best known software companies.

The total size of these accounts adds up to Rs 10 crore. While Surya Roshni is worth around Rs 3.5 crore, the size of Pioneer Urban’s business is estimated at Rs 2.5 crore. Similarly, the DS Group account is worth around Rs 2 crore.

An elated Shivjeet Kullar, creative director, K Factor, says, “We have been able to get these accounts on the basis of our previous work and the reputation that we have built over the years.”

Agrees Deepshikha Singh, manager, corporate communications, Pioneer Urban: “We are very impressed by the work done by K Factor. It is a highly professional and innovative agency. Moreover, their prior experience in real estate advertising will prove to be an added advantage.”

Sharad Agarwal, executive director, Surya Roshini Ltd, adds, “We did not wish to hire a very big agency for our lighting products as we felt that they would not be able to devote much time to us. Moreover, we wanted to appoint an agency that would treat our products as its own. After seeing K Factor’s work, we thought it was capable of handling our account.”

Elaborating upon the agency’s creative strategy vis-a-vis these clients, Kullar says, “We haven’t finalised anything yet, but we will concentrate on TV ads for Surya Roshini and the DS group’s mouth freshener. Our focus will be more on print for Pioneer Urban, Allcheckin and Roy’s new venture. But Adobe wants to concentrate on specialised marketing, using the web media and so on.”

Kullar concludes, “In the future, I don’t really see getting business as a problem, but I see the handling of business as a problem. After all, we want to deliver our best to our clients.”
