Sanjeev Gauba on his way out from Dentsu

Gauba is slated to join another agency by mid March, the name of which couldn’t be ascertained

Sanjeev Gauba, vice-president, Dentsu Communications is on his way out. Sources close to this development have confirmed this. Gauba is slated to join another agency by mid March, though he refuses to divulge details. However, it is learnt that Gauba will continue to be part of the Delhi advertising circuit.

Gauba, who has been in this industry for close to 15 years, had moved to Dentsu Communications about a year back. In his career span, he has worked with agencies such as Bates (then Clarion), Mudra and Rediffusion DY&R. Prior to joining, Dentsu, he was with Mudra which was his second stint with the agency. He has worked on brands such as Reliance India Mobile, LIC, Nestle, JK Tyres and IFFCO-Tokio.

It may be recalled that some time ago Rajul Kulshreshtha, general manager, Group M, Team LG was slated to join Dentsu Communications, Delhi, as vice-president, media. He was to look after the media operations in Delhi and Bangalore. In fact, his joining was confirmed by Sandeep Goyal, chairman, Dentsu India. But in an unprecedented turn of events, Kulshreshtha spurned the offer and continues to serve at Group M.
