Anuranjan Singh Dogra joins Euro RSCG, Delhi

Dogra has joined as associate creative director, art, at Euro RSCG, Delhi

Anuranjan Singh Dogra has joined Euro RSCG, Delhi, as associate creative director, art. He moves from Lowe where he spent close to nine years. The post had fallen vacant in January 2006, when Gaurav Nautiyal, and his cousin, Ranjan, who was associate creative director, copy, resigned from their jobs.

Satbir Singh, vice-president, creative, at Euro RSCG, confirmed the news of Dogra coming on board. He said that in a mid-sized set-up like theirs, it was difficult to assign a particular account to a person and Dogra would look at various clients across categories. He says, “The main focus is to maintain the creative standards of the agency with good work.”

Dogra says, “The reason for my moving out of Lowe is that I was looking for a new challenge. When you are at one place for long, it makes you look at the workplace as a convenient place to be in. I thought of moving on before I fell into that trap.”

Dogra has worked on several brands, including some Maruti products, the Oberoi Group of Hotels, Wills Lifestyle, Atlas Cycles, Boomer Bubble Gum and Xerox. Dogra names the launch of the Maruti Baleno and the Maruti Alto among the most memorable work he has done. He also names the Maruti Esteem Chauffeur campaign, which won the Multimedia Campaign of the Year award at the Delhi Ad Club in 1999-00, as being one of the significant projects he has done in the past.

Commenting on his role at Euro RSCG, Dogra says, “I am looking at doing commendable work, which will help in brand building and win laurels from the clients. The cherry on the icing would be if the work fetches awards as well.”

He adds, “The fun of advertising is that one can work on various categories across categories and that is what I want to do without restricting my creativity.”
