The account moves from Grey Worldwide and the size of the business is estimated to be Rs 12 crore
Park Hotels, a part of the Apeejay Surendra Group, has moved its creative duties to Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC), Delhi. The account moves from Grey Worldwide, which was earlier handling both the creative and media duties for the hotel chain. A decision on the media duties will be taken in consultation with VGC. The size of the business is estimated to be Rs 12 crore.
Several agencies were invited to showcase their credentials, but only VGC was selected to pitch for the account, as the client was particularly pleased with the agency’s past work.
VGC will develop a communication plan for all the branches of Park Hotels, namely those in New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai and Visakhapatnam.
Preeti Vyas Giannetti, chairwoman and chief creative officer, VGC, says, “The Park Hotels is a refreshing change from other destinations. It’s vibrant, exciting and meant for those who have good taste. It is that quality that we brought forth in our presentation.”
Vijay Dewan, managing director, Apeejay Surendra Park Hotels, adds, “VGC is a very youthful, lifestyle oriented agency, which is in perfect synergy with what we at Park Hotels stand for. We are after all a brand of luxury boutique hotels, which VGC understood perfectly well. We believe it will be able to translate our vision into effective communication.”
The media mix is yet to be decided and a media agency will be appointed thereafter.
