Ex-Mediaturf employees form 'Interactive Avenues': Mediaturf adds new members

About 30 senior and mid-level executives in Mediaturf India have quit the agency to start their own venture, 'Interactive Avenues'

A bunch of professionals who had quit Mediaturf, recently, have joined hands to float a new venture, Interactive Avenues. The news about a huge posse of senior and mid-level executives quitting Mediaturf, the Internet and customer relationship management (CRM) company was abuzz in the recent week.

According to sources close to this development, the new agency will be headed by Ratish Nair as the CEO. Nair was earlier COO at Mediaturf. Among others, Shantanu Seroy who was executive vice-president with Mediaturf, and Sunil Miranda, erstwhile vice-president are also part of this new venture.

'Interactive Avenues' will also operate in the same space, and provide digital marketing solution to the advertisers. Formed on April 3, the company opened its first branch in Mumbai. Subsequently it also started its offices in Delhi and Bangalore. The company is currently on a hiring spree.

When contacted, sources at Mediaturf shrugged off the entire incident saying that six people were asked to leave on grounds of professional misconduct.

Meanwhile, Mediaturf has hired three new professionals each in the creative and business development team. Jayesh Soni and Jeslin George have joined as the creative group heads for Mediaturf, while Anamika George is hired as a copywriter.

The agency’s business development team too has new members in the shape of Rajiv Jadhav, who has joined in as the senior manager, client consulting; Garima Aggarwal as assistant manager- client consulting, Delhi, and Siddharth Sethi as business head-Delhi operation.
