Rajeev Rakshit joins Orchard, Bangalore, as brand partner and branch director
Rakshit has worked on brands such as HP, Nokia, Motorola, Nestle, Intel, Dell, Hitachi and JK Tyres
Rajeev Rakshit, who till recently was general manager and vice-president, Everest Brand Solutions, Delhi, has now joined Orchard Advertising, Bangalore, as brand partner and branch director. His mandate at Orchard will be to take complete responsibility of top and bottom line management. As a brand partner, he would be adding equity and building image for the existing brands aligned with Orchard Advertising.
Rakshit began his career with O&M and later on moved to work with agencies such as Maa Bozell, McCann-Erickson, Bates Enterprise (then Clarion), Euro RSCG and Publicis. Some of the prominent brands that he has worked on in his career are HP, Nokia, Motorola, Nestle, Intel, Dell, Hitachi and JK Tyres.
Asked why he made the switch, Rakshit, says, “Orchard has an amazing equity in the market with fabulous brands and work environment. The fascinating aspect with Orchard is the fact that there are no standard designations and the work environment is based on brand teams rather than departments. What really finds value here is the strength of the idea rather than the ad process. And it’s actually the faith and belief in the idea which creates strong brand identities and shapes the vision of the organization for the future.”
Among his memorable achievements during his span of career, which is close to his heart, is the complete relaunch of Everest Brand Solutions as an agency.
