Four more agencies on the New York Festivals 2006 shortlists

Brand David, Delhi, has got two nominations. Percept H, Mumbai, has been nominated in three categories. Dentsu Marcom and 1Pointsize have got one nomination each

Brand David, Percept H and Dentsu Marcom have added their share of Indian entries to be shortlisted for the New York Festivals this year.

Brand David, Delhi, has got two nominations for its ‘Painted Trees’ ad for client WWF in the Guerrilla Marketing: Outdoor category. Its ‘Divorce’ ad for Tony Ray Associates has been shortlisted in the Corporate Identity: Stationery category. Amit Nandwani, creative group head, Brand David, Delhi, is also a judge at the New York Festivals this year.

Percept H, Mumbai, has been nominated in three categories. Its print ad for Ghetto, titled ‘Bar Stool’, is in the Press: Retail Food category. The ad announces jazz music hours and features bar stools which look like musical notes. Besides that, there are three ads for Tantra Handwash in the Cosmetics, Beauty Aids and Toiletries category and the ‘Custom Made Doors’ ad for IFGI Enterprises in the Home Appliances category.

Dentsu Marcom, Delhi, has bagged one nomination for ‘Muskan’ in philanthropic appeal under the Public Service category. These are two press ads written in long copy, describing the different ways in which people try to camouflage female foeticide as natural accidents.

1pointsize, Chennai, has also made it to the shortlists with its ‘Inside Story’ ad for the apparel brand Stori. This is a three-ad campaign featuring superheroes switching from their unique attire to Stori. It has been nominated under the Apparel category.

It is learnt that Rediffusion DY&R, which had three nominations already in the New York Festivals this year, has got itself a fourth one: the PVR ‘Short Film Festival’ campaign in the Outdoor category.

As reported earlier by agencyfaqs!, Rediffusion DY&R, Mudra, Leo Burnett, JWT, Tribal DDB India, Rubecon Communications and Stark Communications have already made it to the finals for the New York Festivals 2006.
