Ogilvy Sport to represent F1’s Kimi Raikkonen in India

Ogilvy Sports is offering brands in India a chance to associate with the Ferrari brands. It will also represent Formula One’s Kimi Raikkonen in India

Ogilvy Sport is offering brands an opportunity to associate with the Ferrari brands. In a recent development, the company has also announced that it will represent Formula One’s Kimi Raikkonen in India.

Pratap Bose, chief executive officer, Ogilvy India, said, “Ogilvy Sports is bringing to Indian brands an opportunity to associate themselves with Kimi Raikkonen for the very first time. This association to represent Kimi is an indicator of Ogilvy India’s future direction in activation and sports.”

Raikkonen graduated to Formula One direct from Formula Renault. To this day, no driver in history has made such a dramatic entry. Raikkonen has finished second in the World Drivers Championship twice – in a car universally acknowledged as inferior to the Ferrari and Renault, which won the title in those years. This year, it was officially announced that Ferrari had secured the services of the series’ most exciting driver on a three-year contract to maintain its position at the head of the championship.

Prashant Singh, business head, Ogilvy Sport, says, “There is no better way to announce the arrival of Ogilvy Sports than this announcement. Our association with Raikkonen is an exciting opportunity for us.”
