Bimal Nair joins Rediffusion DY&R as Mumbai branch head

Nair, who has replaced Deb Sen as branch head, has moved from Contract, Chennai

Rediffusion DY&R, Mumbai, will have a new branch head beginning February 1. Bimal Nair, vice-president and branch head of Contract, Chennai, will join the agency starting next month. Nair replaces Deb Sen, who is moving to Malaysia to manage Y&R’s Kuala Lumpur office.

For the last three years, Nair has been heading Contract’s Chennai office. Prior to Contract Advertising, he spent eight years at iContract, the direct marketing and customer relationship management division of Contract Advertising, based in Mumbai and Bangalore. There, he was handling a portfolio of businesses such as ICICI Bank, Shopper’s Stop, Cadbury’s, Kimberly Clarke, VSNL, Madura Garments, Plug In and HDFC. During his tenure at iContract, the agency won a number of highly prestigious awards such as the Cannes Gold Lion, the Grand Effie, the Gold Effie and the ITSMA Awards.
