Hari Krishnan joins Grey Worldwide, Bangalore, as branch head

Krishnan moves from Stark Communications, where he was heading the organisation’s Bangalore branch as managing director

Grey Worldwide has appointed Hari Krishnan as general manager and branch head for its Bangalore office. Krishnan moves in from Stark Communications, where he was heading the agency’s Bangalore branch as managing director.

His mandate at Grey will be to maintain the pace of expansion at the branch by capturing a substantial market share and consolidate a team of skilled advertising professionals.

Krishnan has over 10 years of experience in the advertising industry. Prior to Stark Communications, he was also associated with agencies such as JWT, RK Swamy/BBDO and Lowe. At Lowe, he has spent a substantial amount of time (close to eight years), and has worked with the agency’s Delhi as well as Bangalore branches.

He has worked prominently on FMCG and automotive brands in his career span, which include Britannia, HLL Foods, Maruti Suzuki Alto, Baleno, Versa and Esteem, Ford Ikon, Endevour, Fusion and Mondeo, Sony Wega, Walkman and Xplod, Titan Fast Track and Karnataka and Kerala Tourism.

Commenting on the appointment, Ashutosh Khanna, chief operating officer, Grey Worldwide India, says, “Hari (Krishnan) has a sound knowledge on both FMCG and automotive brands. His experience will contribute to the overall growth for Grey’s Bangalore branch.”
