Snehasis Bose has joined IMRB International, the market research organisation, as associate vice-president, PQR (Probe Qualitative Research). Prior to this, he was working with Ambience Publicis as vice-president, strategic planning. He will report to Nita Gopal, vice-president, PQR, IMRB International.

Bose has 11 years of experience in the advertising industry. He started his career as an account director in 1995 with JWT, Kolkata (then HTA) and later moved to McCann-Erickson, Kolkata. Then he shifted to Delhi and joined JWT once again. After spending two years there, he switched to planning and joined McCann, Delhi. He spent close to two years at McCann, Delhi, before joining Ambience Publicis.

Some of the brands Bose has worked on include Mirinda, Aquafina, Perfetti, Bacardi, Marico, Shaw Wallace and Godrej.

Bose says, “I have always been passionate about understanding the ultimate consumer and knowing what makes him tick. Joining IMRB International puts me closer to this link.”

Commenting on the appointment, Gopal remarks, “As a market research organisation, our job is not only to provide meaningful data, but also to make sure that the brands experience overall growth. Appointing people with greater understanding of the market is also a way of raising the bar.
