Three Indian agencies short-listed at NYF Interactive & Alternative Media Awards, 2007

The three short-listed agencies include RMG Connect, Brand Therapist and The Hive

Three Indian agencies, RMG Connect, Brand Therapist and The Hive, have made it to the short-list at the NYF Interactive & Alternative Media Awards, 2007.

RMG Connect has become a finalist for its client, Sangam Direct, a full line grocery home shopping service, promoted and managed by Hindustan Unilever Ltd. The entry is an online campaign with three ads titled ‘Parking’, ‘Traffic’ and ‘Carrying’ in the Online Advertising Campaign category. The campaign, targeted at working women, uses animated effects with words to highlight the fun of online shopping as opposed to the hassles of offline shopping after a hard day’s work.

Brand Therapist, Mudra Marketing Services’ specialised unit in the health and lifestyle segment, has been short-listed for its campaign on Hinduja Hospital (Dr Vinay Deshmane), titled ‘Lump’, in the Alternative/Innovative Media: Ambient category. The campaign is targeted at women and spreads awareness about breast cancer. The copy for the ad intriguingly uses words that have been given the effect of a lump and are synonyms for a women’s breast.

The Hive, New Delhi, is the third agency from India which has been short-listed for client HelpAge, an organisation working for the care of the elderly in India. The entry is titled ‘Living Dead’ and is a finalist in the Alternative/Innovative Media: Ambient category.

The results for the Interactive & Alternative Media Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony in New York on April 27, 2007.
