<B><FONT COLOR="#FF0033">GoaFest 2007:</FONT></B> JWT and MindShare get maximum golds

In terms of number of metals, MindShare leads the list with nine; JWT follows with six

JWT and Group M’s media agency MindShare won three golds each at the media awards at GoaFest 2007. While JWT won two golds in the Outdoor category for its entries Lifeline Reliance and Handcuff Indian Railways, it won a third gold for Sunsilk Gang of Girls in the Youth Adults category.

MindShare also bagged three golds for its entries Sunsilk Gang of Girls, Wheel Smart Srimati and Welcome to Axeland in the Internet, TV and Mixed Media categories, respectively.

MindShare also bagged four silvers and a bronze, while JWT bagged two silvers. A silver in the Mixed Media category was shared by MindShare and JWT for Sunsilk Gang of Girls.

The other two agencies that won golds are Rediffusion DY&R and Contract. While Rediffusion DY&R got its gold for ‘Pee to See’ – Dr Reddy’s in the Stunts category, Contract won its gold for ‘Weights’ in the All Adult category. Besides, Contract also won a silver again in the Stunts category, while Rediffusion DY&R got a bronze.

Madison bagged two silvers and a bronze, while Initiative won two silvers.

Lodestar Universal, Optimum Media Solutions, Starcom MediaVest and The Media Edge also bagged a silver each.

Agencies that won bronzes are Lodestar Universal, Starcom MediaVest, The Media Edge, Everest Brand Communications and Maxus.

A special award was presented to Lintas Media Group’s Insight for its entry, Idea Ringtone Integration in the TV category.

The media awards were instituted for the first time at GoaFest. Jury members included representatives from each of the top media agencies in India.
