Vigneshwar Iyer named b`ranch head for Mudra Chennai

Iyer has been working with Mudra for the last two years. He takes over from Milind Jadhav, who recently moved out of the agency

Mudra has named Vigneshwar Iyer, director, brand communications, as the branch head for the agency’s Chennai branch. Iyer takes over from Milind Jadhav, who recently quit the agency.

Iyer has been associated with Mudra for the last two years. Besides looking after business development at the agency, he has been handling a variety of brands, including Henko and RmKV. His mandate as a branch head for the Chennai branch will be to play a key role in the business growth operations of the agency.

Iyer is an MBA and has advertising experience spanning a decade. During his career, he has worked on a wide variety of categories and brands such as ‘The New Indian Express’, Fa, Thomson, Coca Cola, RPG cellular and Polaris. Prior to joining Mudra, his last assignment was with Lowe.

Commenting on the development, S Radhakrishnan, head, Mudra South, says, “Mudra Chennai plays a crucial role in the overall growth operations for Mudra in South India. In the recent past, the Chennai branch has produced some impressive work on brands such as Henko and RmKV. Vigneshwar (Iyer) will work closely with me to further boost the functions of the branch.”

Vigneshwar Iyer remarks, “Mudra Chennai has a decent portfolio of accounts. As the branch head, I will be responsible for nurturing talent and growing businesses to optimal levels.”
