Fisheye Creative gets the Tesco HSC account

Identity was the incumbent agency for the business; the mandate for Fisheye will be to position Tesco HSC as a leading employer brand

Fisheye Creative, a Bangalore based agency, has bagged the creative duties for Tesco HSC (Hindustan Service Centre). Tesco HSC is the global services arm for the Tesco online grocery shopping delivery service and provides IT and business services to Tesco operations in Europe and Asia.

Identity, another Bangalore advertising agency, was the incumbent agency. The media duties for the business are still to be decided. According to industry sources, the advertising spend is in the region of Rs 3-4 crore.

According to Ray Simon, communication manager, Tesco HSC, “The mandate for Fisheye will be to position Tesco HSC as a leading employer brand. Fisheye will be responsible for creating a communication plan which will help attract and retain quality talent in the organisation.”

Commenting on the win, Robert Anthoney, co-founder and creative director, Fisheye Creative, says, “During the pitch presentation, what really worked for us was that we were able to establish clear superiority over competitors such as Target and Supervalue and show Tesco HSC as a better quality employer brand.”

The media mix for the business will be mainly press and outdoor advertising, along with other innovative promotional activities.

Tesco has more than 3,200 stores in 12 countries in Europe and Asia. Tesco HSC designs IT solutions and business services for Tesco, which help in planning store layouts, maintaining constant supply of products in the store and making retailing a better experience for the consumer.
