Parag Shahane has joined Mudra Communications, Mumbai, as senior creative director. He comes from Percept H, Mumbai where he was working as the creative director. He will report to Anil Verma, executive creative director, Mudra Communications.
On his joining, Shahane remarks, “I had started my career with Mudra as a summer trainee. Mudra is known for its brand development quality. With Bobby Pawar coming on board, brand development has become all the more consolidated here.”
At Mudra, Shahane will work on brands such as Godrej Renew, Union Bank, Air India, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), Furniture Bazaar and Electronic Bazaar.
Shahane has an overall experience spanning 12 years. After working as a trainee at Mudra, he started his career with Forefront Advertising in Mumbai and moved on to FCB Ulka. He spent two years at FCB before joining Lowe. After Lowe, he went to Sri Lanka to join JWT Colombo. He worked there for three years. Then he came back to India and joined Percept H. He was associated with Percept H for close to three years.
Brands he has worked on in the past include Filmy, Air Sahara, Depot, Pepsi, Sunsilk, Unilever Corporate, Bristol, Taj Group of Hotels, Bajaj, Shaw Wallace, Idea, ICICI Insurance and Mother’s Recipe. Recently, Shahane also won an award for Filmy at the GoaFest, Promax BDA and Promax World Gold Award. He is also a winner of CAG, A&M and Abby awards.
