Jauhari was working as executive creative director with Rediffusion. He is yet to decide on his next destination
Rahul Jauhari, executive creative director, Rediffusion DY&R Mumbai, has put in his papers. He is serving his notice period till the end of January.
Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Jauhari says, “I have had a fabulous stint here. I hope to see the agency soar higher and stronger than ever before.” However, he feels it is “time to move on”. At present, he is contemplating offers from some Mumbai agencies, but is still to take a final decision.
Jauhari has been with Rediffusion for seven years, and before he quit, he was looking after brands such as Tata Motors, Franklin Templeton, Bank of Maharashtra, Kaya Skin Clinic and Emami.

Jauhari started his career in advertising 11 years ago in 1996 at McCann-Erickson Delhi. While there, he worked on General Motors, Microsoft, Hindustan Times, Reckitt & Colman, Gillette, Bridgestone, Virgin Atlantic, Motorola and the India Today Group.
In 2000, Jauhari moved to Rediffusion as group creative head. He started off with an impressive list of clients, including Canon, Citibank, NIIT Software Solutions, Maruti and Iffco-Tokio General Insurance. He rose to the post of group creative director in Rediffusion Delhi, where he was a key resource on Airtel and responsible for several major national campaigns on the brand.
On moving to Rediffusion Mumbai in 2005, Jauhari took on Onida, Tata Motors and Indian Oil and also worked as a national resource for Delhi and Kolkata on Airtel, PVR, Eveready, Emami, Rupa and Linc. Next, he was promoted as executive creative director.
Jauhari has won more than 30 national and international awards, including a gold Lion at Cannes and certificates of merit at the One Show and Cannes. At the Indian level, Jauhari has won the Crystal award at Mirchi Kaan, the DS Mittle Trophy at RAPA and a host of metals at the GoaFest and the Abbys.
