Nitin Suri quits Dentsu Marcom

Suri was working as executive creative director with Dentsu Marcom New Delhi. He has 15 years of experience in the advertising industry

Nitin Suri, executive creative director, Dentsu Marcom New Delhi, has put in his papers. His next destination is not known, but he says he will continue to be associated with the advertising industry. He spent three years at Dentsu.

Commenting on the move, Suri says, “It’s been a fine stint with Dentsu. But maybe it’s time to look for newer and fresher challenges.”

Suri is an arts graduate from the Delhi College of Arts and has 15 years of experience in the advertising industry. He started his career with an ad agency called Interact Vision. After a year there, he joined Rediffusion DY&R. Rediffusion was the longest stint of his career – 11 years. Some of the brands he worked on at Rediffusion include Airtel, Suzuki and W, the women’s wear brand. After Rediffusion, he joined Dentsu.

Suri’s prominent work at Dentsu includes his work on brands such as Suzlon, Iffco-Tokio, Daikin, Park Avenue, Honda and Sony Ericsson. Suri has won several awards, including at the New York Festivals, the London International Awards, the AAAI, the Abbys and the Calcutta Ad Club. Recently, his social campaign on female infanticide won awards at both the New York Festivals and the London International Awards.
