Cannes 2010: Goof up! Grand Prix withdrawn from Ogilvy Mexico

In a sudden development at Cannes, a new Grand Prix winner has been announced within a few hours of the first announcement

On Wednesday morning at a press conference, it was announced that the Grand Prix in Press Lions 2010 was awarded to Ogilvy Mexico for the Scrabble campaign -- Abraham, Efren and Otto.

However, later in the day, it was announced that the Grand Prix title was being withdrawn from Ogilvy, because the agency had entered the same campaign at the festival last year as well.

The new winner of the Grand Prix, therefore, is AlmapBBDO São Paulo, Brazil for the Billboard campaign -- Bono, Eminem, Amy, Britney, Marilyn.
