Jha was promoted to head Rediffusion's Delhi branch earlier this year; his move to Lowe Lintas is part of senior-level restructuring at the agency
Rediffusion Y&R's Deepesh Jha, who recently put in his papers, is believed to be on his way to join Lowe Lintas Delhi. While both agencies are rather tightlipped about the development, senior sources in the industry confirm Jha's move.
The move is supposed to be part of senior-level restructuring at Lowe Lintas. It is learnt that Jha would join the agency as executive creative director. It must be noted that earlier this year, Jha was promoted to head creative at Rediffusion Y&R's Delhi branch.

Jha is known for his work on the Airtel account, one of Rediffusion's largest businesses handled out of the Delhi office. Sources say that his move makes sense, considering he is known to be one of the better writers for television commercials in the industry, and Lowe's expertise lies in films.
In a career spanning around 15 years, Jha has worked with several agencies. He began with Bates 141 (then Clarion Advertising), moved to Euro RSCG in 1997 and then to McCann Erickson the next year. Spending five years in McCann, he worked on brands such as Reckitt Benckiser, Dettor, Perfetti (Alpenliebe and Big Babol) and Sprite.
He returned to Euro RSCG as associate creative director in 2002; and then headed to JWT, where he looked after accounts such as Glaxo SmithKline, Pepsi and Reckitt. After moving back to Euro RSCG for a brief period; towards early 2005, he joined Cheil as an experiment, working on the Samsung account.
In 2006, he shifted to Publicis and went on to head the Nestlé and ABN Amro accounts, before moving to Rediffusion Y&R towards the end of 2007.
