Romeen Yarkhan joins Everest Brand Solutions as ECD

Earlier, he was creative director, DraftFCB Ulka; he handled the entire portfolio of Tata Motors brands, Tata Docomo, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and Zee Network

Everest Brand Solutions has roped in Romeen Yarkhan as executive creative director, Mumbai branch. This is his second stint at the agency.

Confirming the development, D Rajappa, president, Everest Brand Solutions, says, "Everest is delighted to welcome Romeen - a team player with rich experience and strong credentials."

Earlier, Yarkhan was associated with DraftFCB Ulka as creative director since 2008. He handled the entire portfolio of Tata Motors brands, along with Tata Docomo, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and Zee Network, among others.

Yarkhan says, "I have admired team Everest for its strong values to strengthen the client portfolio. I am proud to come on board and fortunate to work on brands like Parle, Everest's client for the past 64 years. The agency has steadily added a string of brands that I have wanted to work with for long."

After completing chartered accountancy, Yarkhan has spent about 15 years in advertising. He started his career with Lowe Lintas Kolkata in 1995, followed by a short stint at Everest Brand Solutions. Later, he moved back to Lowe Lintas, this time to work at the agency's Delhi branch.

In 1999, he moved to JWT as creative supervisor, working on accounts such as Unilever, De Beers, Close Up and Rin. After three years, he joined McCann Erickson as associate creative director, where he created campaigns for Johnson & Johnson, Babool Toothpaste and Radio Mirchi.

In 2003, he went to Jakarta to work with Max Advertising as creative director. Next, he moved to M&C Saatchi as executive creative director in 2005, followed by a stint at DraftFCB Ulka.
