DTC invites tender for 754 bus queue shelters

The tender will be awarded for two years.

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has invited sealed tenders under the two-bid system from interested parties for display of advertisement rights on approximately 754 bus queue shelters (BQS) or time keeping booths(TKB). The minimum reserve price per month per BQS is Rs 23,000 and the EMD required for the tender is Rs 50 lakh.

The tender will be awarded for a period of two years and can be further extended for one year. The licence fee shall be increased by 10 per cent on the completion of the first year and then by a further 10 per cent on completion of the second year.

Conventional shelters of DTC available for allotment through this tender are those which have been constructed by DTC and not by a private concessionaire under BOT project.

The advertisers shall fix/display their advertisements on or over the roof of the BQS, leaving the facia of the BQS so that the identification and pin code can be written on it.

The maximum size of the advertisement space permitted on BQS as per MCD policy is as

follows: Roof-top: front: 9mX1.2 m and sides: 3mX1.2 m. Any oversized advertisement will be levied a fee equal to 50 per cent of the monthly license fee for each of the BQS/TKB carrying oversized advertisement.

The 754 BQS/TKB come under consolidated tender for 16 zones and include locations such as Kalkaji Temple, Mehrauli, Safdarjung Hospital, RK Puram, Dhaula Kuan, Lado Sarai, Peeragarhi, Uttam Nagar, Palam, Nangloi, Delhi Gate, near airport area, Kapashera, Punjabi Bagh, Ram Mandir, Jhilmil Colony, Mayur Vihar Phase-I and Phase-III, Vasundhara and various others.

Duly completed tenders should be submitted by December 28.
