XAGE Mobile appoints Celina Jaitly as brand ambassador

The mobile brand is all set to foray into the Indian market.

Setting its sights on the Indian market, XAGE Mobile has signed on Celina Jaitly as brand ambassador.

A high-blitz advertising campaign featuring Jaitly has been conceptualised and ideated by Katha Mediatix India, the brand's creative agency on record. The communication will be rolled out shortly. Television, print, outdoor and radio are slated to form a major part of the upcoming campaign.

This campaign will position XAGE Mobile as the first choice for today's discerning consumers. The target group comprises all age groups and income profiles. Cutting-edge music technology and innovation, along with a price to match, are the selling points of the brand.

The commercial will be directed by Pabitra Roy, chief creative officer, Katha Mediatix India, and is slated to be choreographed by Longines Fernandes. The commercial will be filmed at Future Studios, Goregaon, Mumbai, on January 21 and 22.

Krishnendu Sen, chairman, Katha Group says that having bagged the XAGE Mobile account, the group is on a rapid expansion spree. Amongst Katha's other recent wins is the Jawed Habib account.
