Prior to his stint at Pickle, where he spent around three years, Jauhari was with Rediffusion Y&R for eight years. Everest Brand Solutions is the second agency of Rediffusion Y&R.

Jauhari, a well-known advertising professional, began his career in 1996 at McCann Erickson Delhi, before moving to Rediffusion Y&R where he handled Airtel for five years, at the national level, as well as Tata Motors, Onida, Bank of Maharashtra, Kaya Skin Clinic, Emami, Canon, Iffco Tokio, Maruti, and other brands.

During his tenure as national creative director, Pickle Lintas, the agency won and launched prime brands like Nestea Iced Tea, Volvo, Dabur Vatika, Maxx Mobiles, SAB TV and Kalpataru, to name a few.

The Rediffusion group has seen some restructuring in the last few months. In December, D Rajappa, president, Everest Brand Solutions, was elevated to the position of president, Rediffusion Y&R. N Padmakumar, the agency's national creative director was called upon to partner with Rediff's creative head, Minakshi Achan as co-national creative director. The agency had appointed Dhunji Wadia to step into Rajappa's shoes, as president, Everest Brand Solutions, but Padmakumar's former post at the Everest, had since then, been lying vacant.

On his appointment at Everest, Jauhari says, "I am looking forward to partnering with Dhunji. We both believe in solid brand work that works in the market and the award shows. We both believe in partnering with our clients in every sense of the word. And, we both believe in a culture that's people-friendly. As for the rest, it is the work that speaks for itself."

Jauhari says that he is looking forward to working on the talent and the work front, and would like to help create a culture that fosters good work. "It is the beginning. Dhunji has set the ball rolling. We'll take it forward, now," says Jauhari.

"Rahul is one of those rare creative persons who believe in doing solid work on their brands. Without an exception all his awards and accolades have been for hard-core creative done for his clients through the years. Clients vibe well with him, his colleagues adore him, and it comes as no surprise that brands he is associated with do well in the market place. Yes, Rahul is no stranger to our group and we welcome him back," Wadia tells afaqs!.

Jauhari has received several awards in his career. His list of awards includes a Gold Lion at Cannes, and certificates of merit at the One Show and Cannes, besides a host of metals at various Indian shows.
