Goafest 2011: Creative ABBY shortlists announced for six more categories

Shortlisted entries have been announced for Integrated Advertising, Ambient Media, Out-of-Home, Design, Radio and Radio Craft.

After the shortlisted entries were announced for Print, Film and Interactive Digital categories, the Creative ABBY shortlists for six more categories have been released with little over a week left for Goafest 2011.

In the Out-of-Home category that has seen the maximum shortlists among the aforementioned categories, Mudra leads with the most shortlisted entries at 89. The significant campaigns include the agency's work for Volkswagen, Philips, The Economic Times, Henko, Real Good Chicken and Getty Images, among others.

McCann Erickson follows with 65 shortlists that include campaigns for Happydent, Chloromint, Dish TV, Onida, Videocon and Western Union, among others.

Ogilvy India has 58 shortlisted entries in the category. The campaigns that feature in the list include Sour Marbles, Vodafone, adidas and Mattel Toys, among others.

The other agencies in the Out-of-Home category include Bates 141 (49 shortlists), Contract Advertising (31 shortlists), Leo Burnett (26 shortlists), Grey (25 shortlists), JWT (24 shortlists), ideas@work (20 shortlists), Out of the Box (14 shortlists), Euro RSCG (10 shortlists), Rediffusion Y&R (eight shortlists), Creativeland Asia, Cheil Worldwide, Draftfcb Ulka and Parag Shahane Design with three shortlists each; Meridian, Sorento Healthcare Communications and Rubecon Communications with two shortlists each, and Happy Creative Services, Quadrant Communications, Asatsu-DK Fortune Communications, Beehive Communications and Onads Communications with one shortlist each.

In the Ambient category, Ogilvy India has the maximum shortlists with 18 entries. Few of the campaigns in the list include Vodafone, Yahoo! Mail, Indian Railways, Fosters and Bingo Premium Salted Chips among others.

Mudra has 14 shortlists in the category with campaigns for Cancer Patients Aid Association, HBO, Volkswagen and Big Bazaar, among others.

Other agencies in the category are McCann Erickson (12 shortlists), Grey (six shortlists), Leo Burnett (six shortlists), JWT (four shortlists), Creativeland Asia, Interface Communications, Bates 141, Dialog Factory, and 1Pointsize with two shortlists each.

The Design category has Leo Burnett leading with 16 shortlisted entries with work that includes the much popular Gandhi font. Following Leo Burnett is Mudra with six shortlists and Ogilvy, ideas@work and Rediffusion Y&R, with five shortlists each.

The other agencies in the race include Bates 141, The Flagship Advertising, JWT, Contract Advertising and Grandmother India Design with three shortlists each; Dentsu Marcom, McCann Erickson, Out of the Box, Grey, Tailor, and Fitch with two shortlists each, and Happy Creative Services, Dentsu Communications, Palasa Creative Place, and Fingerprints with one shortlisted entry each.

The Integrated category has Ogilvy with the most shortlisted entries at five. The entries include Vodafone, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and Portfolio Night 8.

Other agencies in the category include McCann Erickson (two shortlists) and Creativeland Asia, Contract Advertising, ideas@work, Leo Burnett, Mudra, Bates 141, and Grey with one shortlist each. Bennett, Coleman & Co also features in the list with the Aman Ki Asha campaign.

Mudra leads the pack in the Radio category with 21 shortlists, with campaigns for Reliance Mutual Fund, Gulf Oil, Moov and Big Bazaar among others.

McCann Erickson follows with 19 shortlisted entries. Among the agency's work, shortlisted campaigns include Onida, Dish TV, Radio Mirchi, Republic of Chicken, and Odomos among others.

Other agencies in the fray are Leo Burnett (13 shortlists), Ogilvy India (10 shortlists), Creativeland Asia and Contract Advertising with five shortlists each, Draftfcb Ulka and Grey with three shortlists each, Rediffusion Y&R, JWT, Bates 141, and Interface Communications with two shortlists each, and Euro RSCG and Meridian with one shortlisted entry each.

The Radio Craft category has Lingo India, with seven shortlists for work on Bajaj Exhaust Fans and Gandhijifont.com among others. Others in the fray in this category are Menwhopause with two shortlists, and 92.7 Big FM with one entry.

Organised by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club Bombay (ACB), Goafest 2011 with new initiatives will be a five-day event from April 05-09, at the Zuri White Sands, a five-star resort in Varca, South Goa.
