Percept/H appoints Sanjay Sipahimalani as executive creative director West and South

Before joining Percept/H, Sipahimalani was with Bates 141, Mumbai, as executive creative director. At Percept/H, he will be responsible for planning, conceptualising and implementing creative strategies, managing the creative team, and handling business development.

In an official communique, Prabhakar Mundkur, chief executive officer (CEO), Percept/H, says, "This is a reflection of our increasing commitment to our creative product. Along with Ryan Menezes, we now have a powerful combination of some of the best creative brains in the country."

At Percept/H, Sipahimalani will be responsible for planning, conceptualising and implementing creative strategies, managing the creative team and looking after business development.

"It's exciting to be in Percept at the time when a creative renaissance is taking place within the agency," he says.

Sipahimalani, who has spent two decades in advertising, completed his B.Com (Hons) from St Xavier's College, Kolkata. He later completed a programme on creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College, in the year 2000. Sipahimalani joined Grey Worldwide as creative director the same year, where after spending four years, he moved to Publicis as creative director. At Publicis, he worked for a short period of one year and two months.

In 2005, he moved to Vyas Giannetti Creative as executive creative director. After working at the agency for about three-and-a-half years, he shifted to Bates 141.
