Cent Percent Media Solutions to handle ad sales for Tarang Music & Prarthana

The ad sales agency launched by Barun Das and Amit Tripathy in February handles eight other channels.

Cent Percent Media Solutions (CPMS) has been appointed by Odisha Television Network to handle the advertising sales of two of its channels, Tarang Music and Prarthana.

The network owns and operates four channels (OTV, Tarang, Tarang Music and Prarthana) in Odisha and its sister concern, Ortel Communication, runs a cable distribution system in Odisha and neighbouring states.

Commenting on the association, Ratikant Satpathy, VP, Odisha Television Network, says, "The TV industry is presently at a tipping point. For the record, Cent Percent Media Solutions (CPMS) is an advertising sales agency, co-founded by former Zee executives Barun Das, ex-CEO, ZNL and Amit Tripathi, erstwhile head of the sales function of ZNL, in February, 2013. With a core focus on the growing regional language channels, CPMS aspires to be a one-stop sales avenue for the ad revenue-challenged regional and niche channels.

An additional boost has come in the form of ITV Network's acquisition of a majority stake in CPMS. The company also handles ad sales for channels such as India News National, India News Haryana, India News Rajasthan, India News Bihar, India News Madhya Pradesh, India News Uttar Pradesh, Kolkata TV and NewsX.
