Creative agency Black Swan Life has won the mandate for Swedish hamburger chain Max Burgers in the UAE market. The account will handled out of the agency's Singapore office. It is learnt that there was no official pitch held.
Sukumar Menon, founder, Black Swan Life, says, "This new win is yet another validation of one brand leading to the other. We have hardly participated in pitches in our six years of existence. The launch of Jamba Juice in the UAE generated a lot of buzz and customer turn-out. And that has resulted in us getting Max Burgers."
"Black Swan Life crafted some very creative and effective launch work for Jamba Juice. Their ability to insightfully define the brand and then see it through all touch points is the reason they have been given the mandate to revive Max Burgers in the UAE market," states Shobhit Tandon, business head, Max Burgers.
Max Burgers was started in 1968 by Curt Bergfors and Britta Andersson. As per the burger chain's official website, the brand operates 120 restaurants worldwide and has a turnover of 220 million euros.
The chain launched in UAE in 2012 and is now present across 11 locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
