The account was handed to the agency without any pitch involved.
Ogilvy's offshoot Soho Square, has won its second consecutive account within a span of few days of its earlier win. The advertising agency has won the account of Franke Faber India Limited (FFIL)'s kitchen appliances brand Faber, close on the heels of the Vasmol account, which was won last week. Just like Vasmol, this account too, was handed to the agency without any pitch.
Samrat Bedi, head of office, Soho Square, Mumbai, adds, "This is a huge win for us. It reaffirms our creative strength and our ability to solve our clients' problems with panache. Faber is a market leader, and we are quite excited about this opportunity. We will work to build on the brand's strengths."
Mohit Ahuja, senior vice-president, Soho Square, Mumbai, says, "The Faber win is also an important one for us from the portfolio point of view. At Soho Square, we already handle a modular kitchens and tiles brand; brand Faber further strengthens this 'lifestyle kitchens' portfolio for us."
Faber India is a kitchen appliances company from the house of Franke Faber India, with modern manufacturing facility and an in-house R&D team. It offers kitchen appliances such as hoods, hobs, cook-tops, cooking ranges, built-in-ovens and dishwashers.
Soho Square is the sister agency of Ogilvy and Mather and was earlier known as Meridian Communications. The agency has been in the news for quite a few notable campaigns, one of which is the BJP's 2014 Lok Sabha campaign, which helped lead the party to power that year.
