India wins 20 metals at APAC Effies 2018

The Womb, Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai and Medulla Communications won a Gold Effie each.

At the recently concluded APAC Effie Awards 2018, India went on to win 20 metals which included three Gold, 10 Silvers and seven Bronze awards.

Ogilvy & Mather and Medulla Communications won four Effies each.

Ogilvy & Mather won a Gold, two Silvers and a Bronze award. The Gold awards was for ITC’s 'Adding Health to Hands' campaign. First of the two Silver awards came for Vodafone India’s 'Vodafone Free vs Quality' campaign while the other was for Amazon’s 'Inspiring India's New Dreamers' campaign. The Bronze award came for Ceat’s 'Ceat It Helps Putting Safety First' campaign.

Medulla Communication too won a Gold, two Silvers and a Bronze for Indian Association of Palliative Care’s (IAPC) 'Last Laugh' campaign which helped it to third position in 'Brand of the Year' list.

The Womb won a Gold and two Silvers. All three wins came for 'Let's Create ‘Viral Products’!' for Saregama India.

TBWA India also won three metals. The agency won Silver for Airbnb India’s 'Getting Indians to #LiveThere' campaign and two Bronze for Nissan Motor Corporation’s 'Vote for Change' campaign.

McCann Worldgroup India won two Silvers. The first award was for Reckitt Benckiser’s 'India's newest status symbol' campaign and the other win came for Narayana Health’s 'Breast Exam in Conservative India' campaign.

Hindustan Unilever won a Silver and Bronze each. The Silver award came for ‘Dirt a Karmic Perspective’ campaign and the Bronze award was for ‘Neki Ek Ibadat’ campaign.

BBDO India and Havas WW India won a Bronze award each.

BBDO’s award was for PepsiCo India’s ‘Mirinda #ReleaseThePressure’ campaign and Havas WW’s award was for Reckitt Benckiser India’s ‘Durex Jeans – Condom or Denim‘ campaign.
