UT Ramprasad quits Euro RSCG

UT was involved with India TV, Cherry Blossom's “Charlie” campaign and Radico Khaitan's Old Admiral rum

U T Ramprasad, associate vice-president, Euro RSCG, has put in his papers.

Ramprasad, during his eight month-stint at Euro RSCG, was involved with the launch of Rajat Sharma's India TV, Cherry Blossom's high-profile "Charlie" campaign and also the recent brand-building exercise with Radico Khaitan's Old Admiral rum.

Ramprasad, who is known as 'UT' in advertising circles, has got about 12 years of industry experience; having made his debut with TBWA Anthem (now TBWA India). Subsequently, he moved to Leo-Burnett, where he handled powerhouse soft drinks brands like Thums Up, Limca and Mazza. At Lintas, UT was responsible for Maruti's Esteem and Versa.

Speaking to agencyfaqs!, he said, "At Euro RSCG, it was great to work with Anisha Motwani (vice-president) and Sanjeev Roy (Delhi branch head). I will miss the excitement and camaraderie."

UT, who resigned from Euro RSCG last week, declined to say where he was headed.

With UT calling it a day, Euro RSCG's tryst with senior employee turnover continues.
