Bobby and Rana have called it quits?

No, they havent left Havas Group India. The image was put out by the agency on its LinkedIn profile as a special post for the World No Tobacco Day (May 31). The ‘quitting’ here refers to putting a full stop to the 'nic stick'.

The post replicates the style of news updates, headlines and posts about industry executives moving from or between organisations. It is usually followed by industry magazines and news publications. It even carries a ‘People Spotting’ tag like the dedicated news section on afaqs!.

The headline in the post is also accompanied by the following ‘quotes’ (as we call them) like in a news article.

"Not going to lie, I still love to smoke. Just came to the point where I realized I have to choose who I love more; my family, my health, or nicotine.", said Bobby Pawar, Chairman & CCO, Havas Group India on his decision to quit.

Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas Group India added, "I think this is the best thing I have done for myself, my family, and everyone who matters to me. Life is indeed tough and a lot is beyond our control - quitting smoking is one thing though that is in our control. I smoked because I thought I was smart, I quit because I was smarter!"
