Katappa and Sivagami take on grease in Giffy’s new 'Dishwash ka Baahubali' campaign

The new TVC campaign showcases everyday dishwashing into an entertaining battle against tough grease, showcasing Giffy’s cleaning performance.

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has launched a new TVC for its dishwash gel brand, Giffy, featuring South Indian film actors Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan. The film aims to communicate Giffy’s grease-fighting capabilities through a light-hearted, cinematic narrative rooted in everyday kitchen scenarios.

Set in a domestic environment, the TVC showcases Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in a stylised battle against stubborn grease. The spot blends entertainment and functionality, positioning Giffy as an effective solution to the heavy-duty cleaning often required in Indian kitchens.

Commenting on the TVC, S Prasanna Rai, senior vice president, marketing, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting said: “Giffy was created to deliver powerful cleaning for Indian households, especially where cooking with heavy spices is common. With this campaign, we wanted to communicate our core promise in a way that feels relatable yet engaging. Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan, with their strong screen presence and cultural connect, help us tell this story effectively. It is a creative way to show how Giffy makes tough cleaning simpler and faster.”

Giffy is available in three refreshing variants, Lemon, Green Lime and Enzymes, which leaves utensils spotless with a fresh, clean fragrance in the kitchen.  The product can be purchased at retail stores and across prominent e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket and Jio Mart.  It comes in a 750ml bottle worth Rs. 205 and a 2L refill pack worth Rs. 420.
