India’s iconic TV investigative team—Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Narendra Gupta—has reunited, but this time for a delicious mystery. In KFC’s latest campaign, the trio investigates a deal offering seven Boneless Chicken Strips and two Hot & Crispy pieces for just Rs. 299.

The film shows them questioning how such a combo could exist, only to discover it’s no scam—just KFC’s new offering for chicken lovers. The campaign blends nostalgia for the fans with the brand’s focus on value-driven meals.

The ad film kicks off with Dayanand Shetty grappling with Gen Z slang, confused and convinced he’s been scammed by a deal that looks too good to be true. Shivaji Satam, stepping in as the boss, calls on the team to get to the bottom of this “mystery.” Together with Narendra Gupta, they head to a KFC outlet to investigate.

Packed with their signature line “ye toh scam hai!”, witty exchanges, and playful interrogations, the video follows their journey from suspicion to surprise as they confirm the deal is indeed real.

Conceptualised as a digital-first campaign, it aims to drive engagement across platforms and position KFC’s offering as a value-for-money option in the competitive quick service restaurant (QSR) space.
