MaXposure Media Group (I) Pvt Ltd, a publishing house that produces a bouquet of lifestyle, special interest and custom magazines, has acquired the license for Diabetic Living from Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP)

It's a quarterly magazine available on Newsstands, Hospitals, Diabetic Societies, clinics & corporate entities. Print run of this magazine is 36,000.

India has the highest number of diabetic people in the world—a whopping 32 million and counting. Many among them have no idea whom, what or where to turn to when seeking reliable information about their condition. Diabetic Living magazine arrives as a beacon of hope and a source of authentic information for a large chunk of this population. Our mission is to help you live a full, rich life while managing your diabetes. As Mohit Parashar, diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 33 and featured in our Cover Story puts it, "I don't look at diabetes as a disease. It's just that my body does not make insulin, so I take it from outside." This positive approach keeps him going strong, and we hope his positive energy rubs off on you, too.

Our Advisory Panel boasts the best diabetes specialists from across India. These are doctors who have won both awards and hearts with their sterling work in researching and healing diabetes. So, all the information that you find between these pages is trustworthy and true.

Speaking about the deal, MaXposure Media Group's Managing Director & Publisher Vikas Johari said, "We are delighted and excited to launch Diabetic Living in India. Diabetes is rising at an epidemic scale, so Diabetic Living would be a good title. India has the largest number of diabetics in the world (exceeding China even though China has a higher population) i.e. approx 32 million diabetics in India" as per World Health Organization.

MaXposure's CEO, (Mr. Prakash Johari) shared his vision on Diabetic Living's India launch plans. "The magazine will be the second special interest title by MaXposure after Estetica (Hair & Beauty Magazine) and will be published by Consumer & Special interest vertical. MaXposure plans will take an 360 degree approach to the title with presence in events by conducting Nationwide Diabetic Awareness seminars & conferences with experts (Doctors & Professionals) and will explore presence on electronic media through "The Diabetic Living Show". The magazine will be "must read" for Diabetic patients across the country as it will provide better ways of living with Diabetic."
