Kolkata Knight Riders has tied up with to offer quiz contests for fans on its site,, to test their knowledge about the team

Kolkata Knight Riders has added more interactivity to its site,, by launching a contest section powered by (C2W), a user generated contesting website. The contest section allows users to test their knowledge about the Kolkata Knight Riders.

In an official communiqué, Raj Menon, chief operating officer, C2W, says, “Every Indian is an armchair expert on cricket and knows what strategy Ganguly should employ, what shot Ponting will play and contests are a fantastic platform for users to test their knowledge.”

Currently, the section features eight quiz contests and there are plans to add five more contests in the near future. The contests test the knowledge of users regarding players such as Brendon McCullum, Sourav Ganguly and Chris Gayle. There are also contests to test overall awareness about the team and its mascot, Hoog Lee. There are plans to launch video based contests as well. The contests will be updated on a daily basis.

Users can play and collect points over a period of time. They are also allowed to comment on the contests. The highest scorers will be awarded.

Kolkata Knight Riders has tied up with various portals to power the content on its site. For instance, it has tied up with, an online gaming portal of Reliance Entertainment. Zapak has created a dedicated cricket zone on and launched five games specially developed for the team’s fans.
