Krishna Prasad, executive producer, MSN India has put in his papers. He is currently serving his notice period.
Although Prasad has confirmed his move to afaqs!, he is not ready to reveal his next destination. He says, "I have a couple of offers in my hand but I have not finalised on any one as yet."
Prasad has about 16 years of work experience. He joined MSN India in 2002. As executive producer, Prasad was the head of the content team and was mainly responsible for creating content strategies and alliances to drive Internet users to MSN India network websites. He was also a part of the team that launched MSN Search and MSN Video in India.
During his tenure with MSN, the Internet company entered into content alliances with online players such as asklaila.com and Bollywoodhungama.com. It created alliances with various Bollywood production houses to provide exclusive content such as video promos and wallpapers for movies such as Jodhaa Akbar and Rang De Basanti.
Earlier, Prasad had worked with the Microland Group, where he was head of production of Indya.com, which was later acquired by News Corporation.
