Talking to afaqs!, Amrish Sethi, content and programming head, In.com says, "We believe that Bigg Boss is a super-cool format that is appealing, entertaining and engaging; especially to young India, which is our core audience. The basic premise for the Bigg Boss official website is to be a one-stop destination for all those who love the show, where they can watch all the show episodes again and again, interact with other fans and express their likes and dislikes about the action being played out inside the house."

"Since the website is online 24x7, unlike a one-hour TV show, we try and provide to our users not only all the video content, which is seen on television, but lots more. Our attempt is to create an attractive environment, where a fan can stay connected to the show whenever he chooses; for as long as he/she decides; and to make him/her wanting to keep coming back for more," Sethi adds.

The exclusive video updates will feature clips with varying duration, which could range from 60-90 seconds to around 10 minutes each.

The microsite is being promoted through a 'Featured Video' on the Watch section of in.com, which hosts quality video content across genres, and is one of the most visited sections on the website.

There will also be content integration in relevant sections of the site. The microsite will also be promoted across the Network18 group with the support of TV and online properties.

However, it couldn't be ascertained whether the website will try to monetize this content.
