Leapingwindows.com offers comic books and graphic novels on rent, targeted towards consumers above 18 years

Pune based online comic books library, Leapingwindows.com, has appointed digital agency Ignitee Digital Solutions to handle its online marketing.

Leapingwindows.com offers on rent comic books and graphic novels related to various categories such as adventure, humour, horror, fantasy and crime, targeted towards consumers aged more than 18 years.

"The basic aim of the portal is to make available books that are not easily available or affordable," says Utsa Shome, promoter, Leaping Windows, in a conversation with afaqs!.

To get books on rent, users are required to become a member of the site. Membership is available for three months, six months and 12 months at Rs 1500, Rs 3000 and Rs 5000 respectively. Members can visit the site and select books from an online catalogue. More than 1800 books are available on the site.

The online library currently offers its services in Mumbai only and has about 200 members.

Shome says, "We will use online marketing to reach comic book lovers across India and use it to build our brand and create a community around comic books and graphic novels."

The company also plans to make its services available in other metros.

Ignitee Digital will handle the presence of Leapingwindows.com on Facebook and Twitter. Search engine marketing will also be used. There are no plans to use banner advertising as of now.
