Whereisyourbrand.com to offer platform for branding, sponsorships through bids

On the website, advertisers can buy branding opportunities and sponsorships through bidding and property owners can upload their properties.

Dinesh Chandra, former marketing director at Kohler India, through his firm Fresheyes Ventures, has launched Whereisyourbrand.com, a portal dedicated to listing branding and sponsorship opportunities in the ATL and BTL space for advertisers in India. The website also allows advertisers to search and bid for branding and sponsorship opportunities.

On the website, advertisers can buy branding opportunities and sponsorships through bidding on the WIYBID module. They can also submit media briefs and get executable media plans from experts using the XPRESSBRIEFING service. Besides this, property owners can upload their properties on the website for free and offer opportunities for bidding on their terms.

"Today, the advertiser or sponsor is spoilt for choice. However, the choice is not comforting when one realises that a large number of opportunities are not even visible. For the property owner, the challenge is even bigger, especially in the non-traditional media and events space. A number of property owners struggle to get the eyes and ears of the brand marketers at the right time. It is here that Whereisyourbrand.com wants to bridge the gap and help both the brand marketers and property owners," states Chandra, managing director, Fresheyes Ventures.

According to Chandra, the genesis of Whereisyourbrand.com lies in the understanding of the pain points of both the brand marketers and the property owners, and committing to offer a solution for the same.

The bidding platform on the website addresses another key concern of lack of 'market discovery' in pricing of branding opportunities and sponsorships that is faced by the sponsors and property owners today. For instance, the sponsor feels he bought a sponsorship expensive, while the property owner feels he sold it cheap.

Currently, there are around 1,200 opportunities listed on the site, spread across 25 categories between ATL and BTL space. "We have been working for the last several months and contacting the property owners directly. With the site going live now, it will be easy for the property owners to go to the site, register and upload a property within a few minutes for free," informs Chandra.
