Nitin Mathur, senior director and head of marketing, India and Southeast Asia, Yahoo Inc. has relocated to Singapore. Confirming the news, a Yahoo spokesperson says, "Yahoo! India confirms that Nitin has been transferred to Singapore. It's a regular internal transfer. There is no change in Nitin's responsibility and he will continue to manage marketing for India and Southeast Asia."

This comes close to the exit of Arun Tadanki, managing director, India and Southeast Asia for Yahoo, who put in his papers in February, 2013. Tadanki, however, was slated to remain in the company till June, 2013 to oversee and ensure a smooth transition. The company is yet to decide on his replacement.

Mathur joined Yahoo India in 2007 and was subsequently promoted to head marketing for Yahoo's key growth markets - India and Southeast Asia that includes Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. As a part of the leadership team, Mathur is responsible for directing all brand, product, mobile and B2B marketing efforts across the region.

Before Yahoo India, Mathur had worked with Sapient, Times Internet, Indiainfo and Sahara India. He has around 15 years of experience in the industry.
