According the data released by Facebook, globally, 8.8 million people drove 24.5 million interactions (posts, comments and likes) around the match on Facebook. In India, six million people contributed to 17 million interactions.

According to Facebook, the most talked-about player from the Indian team was Virat Kohli, while Steve Smith dominated the conversation from the Australian side.

Sharing further insights, Facebook says that the top demographic (in descending order) discussing the match on Facebook were - men between 18-24 years, men between 25-34 years, women between 18-24 years, women between 25-34 years, and men between 35-44 years.
